'If You Leave Me Now' which is on X.

Love it, but I'm a sucker for cheesy ballads, especially '70's soft rock.

To me, Chicago died with the death of Terry Kath.
Then after Peter Cetera left, they were really finished.

Peter Cetera left

Apparently the whole leaving the band left a really bad taste in his mouth. He asked for more money on the last leg of the '17' tour and they gave it to him. I think secretly he was hoping they'd refuse because he was tired of touring. His plan was to make his second solo album then return for the 18th album... but the band told him 'you're out or you're in' - even though he had already made a solo album in 1980.

Cetera didn't participate in the VH1 Behind The Music on them in the late 90's and did not agree to be interviewed for the band's official documentary a year or so ago (Bill Champlin refused that as well saying "if you can't say anything nice..."). He also didn't attend the hall of fame ceremony as we know but also did not attend his induction into the songwriting hall of fame - where he was to be inducted alongside Robert Lamm and James Pankow. But Cetera did agree to be interviewed for the Kath documentary for which I was happy to see.

Also, Ksenona
Ksenia Buzina is quite a looker.

She's on this video too:

Wishing You Were Here

Their version of I'm a Man is a stout cover with great jam. They are so eclectic too - drummer looks like a Russian mob hit man.

Lenoid & Friends is awesome.

Just bought 6 tickets to see Chicago in Atlanta again in October. Never miss that one if I can help it.

Oops. July is Chicago. October is Stapleton and I got those today too.

Steely Dan and Doobie Bros in May in hand also. Foing to be a good year for concerts.
