I promised when I finished this guitar project I would post a pic. After you’re done vomiting from the team represented have a look

Apologies. I suck at posting pics.

Well for one thing it has all that stupid tOSU stuff on it. That alone makes it suck.
Jk
Looks pretty nice man. How’s it sound?

Looks good. Did you use a stewmac kit?
I was thinking about doing one of the LP kits.
Please keep us updated, really interested in how you like it.
I saw one that somebody was building from a stewmac kit that looked really nice. It had a beautiful quilted maple top, but wasn't finished yet.

It was a kit but not from Stewmac. Comparable I’m sure.

Details?

I bought the kit during Covid and did a lot of work on the body then but never finished it. Then I moved and it was in storage for awhile which is why I’m just finishing it.

Initially stained the body but it looked bad so I painted it. Put about 50 coats of clear coat on it. Bought the OSU helmet stickers on Amazon. Had to shave the neck down before gluing it so it would sit correctly in the neck pocket.

Wiring was the hardest part. Had to solder all the connections. Looks easy on video but was much harder when actually doing it. Took several tries to get it right.

Put about 50 coats on it to build up the thickness. Just used clear coat from Home Depot.
