It was my first bcsf on Sunday. I enjoyed it a lot less than I thought I would. I'm still processing it all, I can casually, and occasionally listen on the radio, and took the wife as a Mother's Day gift. I think the crowd threw me off. The d- bag level was HIGH, the white trash level was HIGH. I felt disconnected because I couldn't get into as some. Another thing that surprised me was that I thought eric church and Jason Aldeans' voice sounded whinny after awhile. There's a big difference between listening for 5 min and 5 hrs. Besides that, the guy next to me kept wanting to have some deep convos about life, including Jesus, while he smoked a cig. The guy on the other side asks "who's next" I reply Jason aldeen, he says no it's Jason mutha firkin aldeen. Whooaaaa. Good one guy! It was quite miserable at time despite the alcohol

That right there sums up how I imagine the average BCSF attendee would act.

This weekend was my first as well. It was about par with what I expected. I get a kick out of the hate for the acts they bring in. I am not a fan of any of them. Kinda like Lee Brice and Eric Church, kinda. They are trying to sell out a stadium so they have to bring in what the masses like from main stream country. I don't know why it is surprising that involves the stereotypical crap that is selling the last few years in country music. I expected a young drunk crowd and that's what it was. Why is it now cool to knock on this? It's what will sell. And these aren't bands selling out on their music, it's bands that have been groomed for this crap to make money. Big surprise that the songs are about all the same, it's what the masses are buying I've seen plenty of good bands through the years and they aren't in venues like tiger stadium because they aren't doing it for the money.
