The headstock design isn't really big enough but otherwise I like it.

Very nice. Mind me asking who built it?

It was a local guy, I'm in the Midwest so I doubt anyone here would know him.

Sounds very good.

I have an HD28 and the HD28 is slightly bassier while this guitar is a little brighter.

Also has a fast, narrow neck on it.

Pretty piece, the slothead is a nice touch!

Drummer here, but that’s a nice-looking rig. Does it sound as good as it looks?

Thanks, I've never owned a slothead and decided to put one on this guitar to make it look a little different.

Its also a satin finish as I like that more than gloss.

Its not as bassy as a Martin but not as bright as a Taylor.

It finds a happy medium.

After having this thing for awhile, I'm seriously considering selling my Martin HD28.

Between my Eastman and this, its the odd dread out.

Beautiful. Can’t believe you’d actually sell it.
I think all of the 28 series are awesome guitars.
I’m hunting for a Martin 000 15 SM, solid mahogany, 12 fret, slotted headstock.
Can’t find a new one anywhere.
Wish things could get back to normal.

I have an Eastman E8D that I think is actually better than my Martin.

I don't think there's near as much of a distance between the "top brands" and the competition as there used to be.
