Turnpike's making a quick ascent. They'll be big in no time.
I'm going with Sour Bridges. They went from being pretty obscure locally to having a few bar residencies and doing a radio spot with Ray Wylie Hubbard all within a month or so. Now everyone wants a piece.

I was wondering what was up with his banjo that night... either way, if you talk to him, assure him it sounded good.
when I get done editing it, i'll have to mail you a link to it.
ETA: one thing as a bassist, the upright doesn't come through as well as the electric in the mix IMO.. the latter half of the set is more full the first half it seems like. It's still really good. I've been experimenting in different venues around town for shows. The Varsity is the room I finally got it right in I believe

The banjo broke at the Whitewater show and they just got it back from the doctor, apparently it was still all jacked up. He was in a bad mood all day so I'm sure between that and that chick yelling out "Boys From Oklahoma", his mood never improved.
