So, I never see Emily discussed on here or anywhere else for that matter. However, this girl is fantastic. She recently released her 3rd full length LP.

I'm glad someone else is familiar with her. Her second album, The Symphonies..., has a strong hip-hop influence. Great stuff. There are also some great videos of her on youtube where she basically builds up the loops on songs and performs over the top. Impressive stuff.

Good stuff, thanks for posting. I'm a sucker for any artist/band that uses a lot of violin. I also love how during her live performances she plays the tracks she's going to use for the rest of the song and doesn't just have them pre-recorded. Makes it more organic to have even the recording done live. She's very talented.

i do enjoy her music, but in small doses. she can be slightly nasal-y sounding, but all in all i like her a lot.
