I can’t say that I am a big fan of his.(I really don’t know a lot of his songs) I was invited to go see his show later this week
My question: with limited exposure to Sir Elton, would I enjoy his concert?

Yes. Saw him a few years ago and he puts on a great show even at his age.

Yea, I saw him 2 years ago.

He forgets his lyrics quite a bit while playing live but he still has a great catalog of music.

I'd go see him again.

Yes. Great show. It’s a sing along. You know all of the songs.

Last time I saw him in concert was with Billy Joel in 1995. They were both awesome. He is pretty entertaining but way past his prime.

Saw him in Charlotte in 95, not that good. More show than music.

Not sure how that is possible since the guy is a piano player/singer and not up there dancing or creating some kind of spectacle other than performing his songs (though I know he is animated and wears bright clothing).

If by bright clothing you mean costumes. I like some of his music but live he is more Broadway than concert, at least to my liking. I am glad I saw him but not a show that I need to see again.

Since I love music and musicians I would probably be more interested in his story as writer/singer/performer. He is no doubt good.
