EDM: fav acts and manner of consumption

I know we have some EDM fans on here.

Who are your favorite oonsah oonsah makers du jour?
Put as many as you'd like, I'll go with 10, but this list might be different if I did it tomorrow, except that the top 3 would be the same.
1) Sander Van Doorn
2) Avicii
3) Arty
4) Tiesto
5) Deniz Koyu
6) Eric Prydz
7) Swedish House Mafia
8) Deadmau5
9) Guetta
10) Daft Punk

How do you consume your EDM? In other words, how do you hear new stuff? Internet radio? Downloading specific artists? Podcasts? Other?
For me, Sander's Identity podcasts are a godsend. He does a nice job of playing, not just his stuff, but the best stuff from all around.

I listen to corsten's countdown every week. Zealot told me about a website but it's not up anymore. It used to have all of the bbc radio 1 shows to download in mp3 format. I really miss those.

Sure, my wife won't mind me leaving her with the two kids while I leave the country.
Just checked out the lineup. Sean Tyas should be another good one. I have his essential mix. As Pete Tong put it, "very melodic, bass driven trance." right up my alley.
That festival puts anything that I've attended to shame. And I've been to some pretty badass festivals.

Wow, thas a lot of trance and house or just straight dance music. For me breakbeats is the thing. I use to listen a lot more when I "partied".
Adam Freeland, Evil Nine, Ills, Rennie Pilgrem, Santos, Plum DJs, meat Katie, Tayo, Stanton Warriors.
BBC Radio 1/dance is where I lean if I want to hear some new stuff. Pete Tongs essential mix show is legendary. Annie Nightingale is my most listend to show on their. Pandora is good and opening new music doors too. And of course dialouge like this

Absolutely. I'm not really that familiar with these artists, but I'll check 'em out.
EDM genres mostly confuse me, but it usually ends up that the songs/artists I like the most are classified as some variety of House. I used to be more into trance, but now I find that it's a bit too swirly for me. I don't mind a little of that, but not at the expense of that oonsah oonsah beat.
Pete Tongs essential mix, huh? He plays all varieties of EDM?

Hybrid is another good one that is breakbeatish but they mix in a few types of other edm subgenres. Wide angle is one of my favorite albums.
Annie Mac Presents is another good radio show on radio 1. It's a lot different from Annie Nightengale and Pete Tong's shows.
Also, iirc, Pete Tong has two shows. Essential mix is usually a guest dj that plays for two hours and Essential selection is a mix of current and past popular edm songs spanning all of the edm subgenres.

I saw Afrojack this weekend. A few points.
1) His music isn't my fav. It's tough to articulate why, but I'm just not necessarily on board with it.
2) Girls loooooove Afrojack. There was more box at that place than a goddamn FedEx warehouse.
3) Point #2 trumps point #1 and I would not hesitate to go to an Afrojack show in the future.
Who do y'all think has the best female following in the world of EDM? Or who are some candidates? These things can change quickly. The female turnout for Afrojack this weekend reminded me of Deadmau5 like three years ago.
