earthquake sound speakers?

The house we will likely be closing on in a few weeks has earthquake sound in-ceiling speakers installed in the living room (not exactly sure which model). Anyone have any experience with these? I can only find limited information online.

Looks like a contractor-grade speaker. Get a quality receiver and front channel speakers and you probably won't notice them. You can always upgrade them down the line.
