Has anyone been to a show there? Is it like the Red Dragon where you can bring a ice chest in? Just saw that Jim Avett is playing next week and would love to check out his show. However, Ill be out of town but want to see a concert there since its walking distance from my house.

I've only been once or twice but yeah, it's similar to Red Dragon in that it's BYOB..
Basically just an old house that they've knocked some walls out in. Pretty cool laid back atmosphere. The guy that owns Christian Street Furniture runs it.

dyson house is a great option for quiet singer songwriters.
the parlor is another new venue that is where lagniappe records used to be off government. going to check out a show there july 8th: the humble kind, ship of fools, and micah schnabel of two cow garage.

Their website says, "All shows from 6-9."
I'm looking at a show with no opener indicated. Is that how long the main act will be playing? Seems like a long time, even with a set break.
