Definitely will be there. One of my favorite NOLA all star groups. I grooved to their 2010 One Eyed Jacks late night show yesterday in preparation

Great show. My highlights were "Out in the Country," whatever segued into "Be Thankful For What You Got," and "Let A Woman Be A Woman."

When Ivan and Stanton get locked in, there isn't a current keyboardist-drummer combo that can be topped.

The only negative was the crowd. I don't think they realized these guys only play 2 or 3 shows a year MAX and when they do it is a hefty ticket. A lot of chatter but still a phenomenal time

Yeah visually there was a bunch of bullshite going on, but I can just close my eyes for that. It was the talking that pissed me off. It's just like "dude Ivan fricking Neville is destroying the keys right now, shut the frick up!!!" but whatevs. I guess that is the territory that comes with a free show.

I don't want to sound negative though. It was a fantastic show. One of the best bands in the "jam scene" right now, which I know is a bold statement. You can tell these guys love to improv together. While limited tonight on that aspect, it was still one of the better shows I've seen this year. Topped their Fiya Fest show.

I thought the show was great too. They were extremely tight with a nice rock funk edge. They even threw in a reggae jam with the Stevie Nicks cover. Ivan and Stanton definitely didn't hold anything back.

I thought the show was one of the if not the best Wednesday square show I've seen. Issues with the crowd ? You must be standing in the wrong place mon. Stevie Nicks cover was great and I love all the Who Dats. This is a prime example of what makes NOLA so great. Free concert on a Wednesday, along the historical street car line, that attracts a very diverse crowd, with extremely talented home grown musicians doing their thing. Where else are you gonna find something like this?

And Stanton Moore is a beast on those drums.

Yeah, musically it was fantastic. I was probably just with the wrong group of people

The one that says "changes" in the chorus. Not sure of the title, I am no Fleetwood Mac expert.

Fleetwood Mac - "Landslide" was the cover.

Great show. Made me realize how unapprecative I've been living around NOLA the past 15 years. Free show, great local musicians, awesome weather and drinks outside in a public park.

Doesn't get much better than that.

You must have been standing with your TulaneLSU crowd. The Heady smoke was loud where I was standing.
