Don Kirshner's Rock Concert. Any of you old timers remember that show ?

It was awesome ! So many great performers played on that show.

This is one of my favorites...

Joe Walsh & Friends (1975) This was just before he got invited to join the Eagles. Don Felder is the other guitarist. This band is so fricking tight !

Joe Walsh & Friends

The video quality isn't great, but the music sure is.

Nice ! 1975 Sabbath was awesome ! I've always been a huge Geezer Butler fan...one of my favorite bassist's.

That show really put him/them on the map.

It was awesome. And actual performances, not lip syncing.

I caught the tail end of Kirshner's but then remember Night Flight on Saturday nights. Funny how MTV came along and gave us the opportunity to actually see some artists, only to devolve into game shows by the end of the decade. And now the History Channel dedicates hour after hour to shows like Swamp People and Pawn Stars.
