Thanks for posting that, I guess.

Depressing, for a variety of reasons. But interesting.

I'm in Indio this weekend. Missed Dylan last night and saw Stones. Whatever video feed and coverage was quirky or lacking for Dylan, the stage and sound would make up for it. Stage was built new just for this show and massive. Sound is the best I've heard at any festival.

Did the Stones have the Hell's Angels working security at this one?

Going to see Dylan in a few days,it's been 20 years since the last time.
Actually got to talk to him for a few minutes at an after party, because I was dating a girl who was a DJ at the Local Rock Station back then.
She knew who he was,but didn't consider him to be a very important person in music, more like a has been.
He said something that offended her,and I laughed a little bit.
That was the last time I talked to either one of them

I have spent so much time listening to him, trying to learn. The way he can sum up a hundred thoughts into 1 line, amazes me.
Hoping I can work it out some way that he can sign 1 of my Strats. I have never asked anybody to do that before, and I feel weird about it.I am a real Fan of his though.

Nothing wrong
with that. I'm from his generation and have a lot of respect
for him.

I would hope so, he is only the greatest songwriter of all time.

I would've liked to see all those bands, but I really wish I could've heard "Fearless" and the 'Animals' songs from Roger's set. My friend was there, and he decided to stay & see this weekend's shows too. I don't know if he was exaggerating, but he said he was able to get a pit ticket that was normally $1000+ for "only" $300...Jeebus
