Deerhunter - Monomania

Any love for deerhunter? As I reflect on 2013, this album stands out as one of my favorites. Its got it - it rocks , its got the indie vibe going on, its got a pop song or two. And yet, its still got a really weird experimental vibe continuing the deerhunter just strange vibe they have.
Oh, and deerhunter rocks live. I saw them at a music festival and alone. All of the people I went to the music festival said they were the best act there, and the friends I took to their standalone show loved it. They lost the crowd on some of the 20 minute jams but it held my interest.

And that quote reminds me of arrested development.

It is probably among my top 5 or so for the year. The Missing is my favorite track.

I am having a hard time figuring out what would be above it.
I really like the !!!, speedy ortiz, and women but I cant say I would rate them higher.
Daft Punk's album is obviously excellent but its a little bit played out.
