Anyone else hit the show last night? It was seriously not crowded, and tickets prices were dropping for a while. I got row 6 aisle seats one week ago.
That being said, the boys (er, old men...) put on a great show. Three of the dudes from their most popular days in the 70's are still there--Ian Gillan on vocals, Ian Paice on drums, and Roger Glover on bass. Steve Morse (formerly of the Dixie Dregs but has been playing with DP for over 20 years now) was amazing on guitar, and former Ozzy Osbourne/Rainbow keyboardist Don Airey rounded out the lineup.
Opening for them was an interesting new band, Joyous Wolf. Hard rock, 70's sound, and one of the more entertaining lead singers I've seen in a while. Their videos are online.
Setlist didn't include a lot of songs but there were long solos, intro, outros. These guys are still great instrumentalists. I would've liked to hear a few more songs, like "Burn" or "Woman from Tokyo".
Highway Star
Pictures of Home
Bloodsucker
Demon's Eye
Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming
Uncommon Man
Lazy
Time for Bedlam
Perfect Strangers
Space Truckin'
Smoke on the Water
Encore:
Hush
Black Knight

Directors and producers LOVE to put Deep Purple on their soundtracks. I've basically got a Deep Purple Greatest Hits playlist just from all of the movie soundtrack CDs I have.
The growth and range of the band is amazing. They went from a cover of Kentucky Woman and Hush to being a hard rock staple. (They were just on the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood soundtrack.)
