Spotify playlist includes covers of his songs going all the way back to 3 Dog Night in the 70’s as well as his originals spanning a 50 year career. His style includes folk, rock, bluegrass, blues, soul, country and pop, Spotify doesn’t carry the tribute album to him unfortunately.

Ride Along- John Hiatt

If Dylan is #1, then Hiatt has to be right behind him!

His next album Slow Turning featured Bernie Leadon of Eagles fame and Louisiana’s own Sonny Landreth from Breaux Bridge on slide guitar and Drummer Kenny Blevins from Lake Charles

On the studio recording, yes. Not the version I posted.

I always liked his duet with Roseanne Cash on the second Will the Circle be Unbroken album, "One Step Over the Line".

Read somewhere that Perfectly Good Guitar was inspired by watching Nirvana's bass player Kris N. throw his bass up in the air and crash on his head
