Hard to believe that guy is still so sharp. We all have our favorites but he is and always will be my GOAT. His sound resonates with me and Ive never heard anyone else play that I just cant get tired of. Him being brought on board for the Floyd changed things and helped take them to a level they never would have reached with Sid though he was so talented. He was a perfect fit.
I hope that dude keeps playing for 30 more years.

He's a permanent fixture in my top 2 favorite guitarists.
Flip Flops between #1 and #2 depending on my mood at the top.

Old guitar guys like Gilmour should tour with each other. Gilmour, Clapton, Knopfler.
Basically anyone good enough to have auctioned off his guitars at Christie’s or Southeby.
The Rascals of Rock Tour. Take the stage in Scooters with a GOT chair attached.

Here's Pete Townsend, David Gilmour, Mark Knopfler, Lemmy and Gary Moore doing a comedy sketch on British TV.
