Glenn's been talking about doing this album for years and it finally came out last week. The production is really low fi, maybe he wanted it to sound more like vinyl from the 70s? His voice is obviously well past its prime and he doesn't do any of the big hits, Jailhouse Rock, Blue Suede Shoes, Hound Dog, etc. The results are interesting though. Its lounge music but like out of a David Lynch movie. Reviews are mostly negative but I think they're a bit harsh. I know how much this board is obsessed with covers, so here's some more.

This Elvis record is interesting. Not bad or good, but interesting. I enjoy it for what it is, and I like that it's not the classic pop songs of Elvis for the most part
