Coldplay played a couple of other songs from their new album at a short concert yesterday.

I can't stand it. I hate the female chorus. Chris Martin's voice just doesn't work for that style of music. And I'm not an "anti-Coldplay" guy, I just hate the direction they've steadily progressed to. Their best music is Cemeteries of London, Spies, God Put A Smile On Your Face, A Whisper, High Speed, Shiver, Death And All His Friend, and such...you know, basically when they were a four-piece rock band that played instruments and laid off the excessive electronics and drum machines. But to each his own.

(My wife and I) are big Coldplay fans and we both hate it.
My gay brother in law, "just looovves it" though. Hearing him belt out the, "You make me feel...Like I'm alive again...Alive again!" is quite comical though.
