Hands down the best hip-hop background producer.

Original Material: Clams Casino - I'm God

A$AP Rocky - Bass, produced: Clams Casino

A$AP Rocky - Leaf, produced: Clams Casino

Clams Casino - Pitchfork

Where can I find more well produced hip-hop music like this? The only one I'm into is A$AP Rocky and that was an accidental find for me. I'm 32 and live in The Delta. I'm exploring some new styles.

Swag?

To clarify: I'm looking for "smart" hiphop music with the background making your jaw drop.

Wow, I really like that. I'll add to my hip-hop playlist. My Tundra has the 10-speaker JBL system upgrade. I better use it!

I'd recommend that whole album, Madvillainy.

Unique, underground hip-hop. MF DOOM lyrics are very good and Madlib's beats are top-notch.

A few other choice cuts:

fancy clown

meat grinder

raid

Thank you. I will add all of it to my playlist. I like to listen to brand new stuff since I commute around everywhere. I will let you know what I think.

I downloaded that.

Also listened to this, have you heard it? I wanted to listen to his most mainstream, younger-sounding (although late in his career) track: DJ Shadow - Scale It Back feat. Little Dragon (Robotaki Remix)

Haha, I like Neutral Milk Hotel too. Listened to them smoking in college all time. I'll give them another listen soon.

Check out Exile. He produced all of Blu's "Below The Heavens" album and Fashawn's "Boy Meets World" album.

Clams is great.

Look at some Witch House if you like Clams. His music treads this water or closely to it.

Mister Lies
Salem
Purity Ring
White Ring
oOoOO

You might also want to check out The Weeknd as he has the foggy and drugged out production that you'd probably dig.
