Has anyone seen Chicago on their 2018 Tour yet? Their set is about 30-32 songs per show, with half of it being the Chicago album (II) and the other half being an assortment of hits.

With their decision to play an entire album like this (the first time they've played II in its entirety since the 70s I believe), it makes me wonder if they are finally getting ready to hang it up for good.

I have tickets for their show in Atlanta on Saturday night and can't wait. REO Speedwagon is opening, which I don't really care much about. I'll use their 10 song set to make sure I get my pees and poops out and hit up the concessions.

In the last couple of weeks, Chicago added "Introduction" to their 2nd set, which is awesome considering it's one of my top 5 songs of theirs. Hopefully they keep it on the set for Saturday.

I saw them in NOLA at the Saenger—good show...no opening act.

Spoke to a friend who went to Austin last week and said REO was damn good.

Eh. A lot of bands are doing that now. Example: U2 with Joshua Tree.

Saw Chicago here in BR back in March. James Pankow absolutely steals the show. I can honestly say I’ve never said that about another trombone player.

Who is singing Colour My World these days? Heard rumors that Lee Loughnane was doing it and sounded fairly close to Terry. It used to be Lamm if I remember correctly.

I saw them along time ago. Like 1969 or so.

Pankow cracked me up trying to be sexy rock star trombone player with the girls on the front row.I say that as a proud trombonist, myself.

Terry sang it originally. Champlin sang it when he joined.

I wish I would have seen them on this tour. Playing Chicago II (a double album) from start to finish to open the show takes some balls. While many songs are known, most are not. Even Lamm said that when they were rehearsing the tour, he took another look at the song 'Where Do We Go From Here' - written by Cetera. Lamm said he never thought much of the song, even they performed it live in '70 and '71. He said that revisiting it made him appreciate the lyrics that he never did before.

Yeah, my bad. When I said Lammm "used" to sing it, I meant in their current band lineup. It's hard to top Terry Kath singing lead vocals on any of his songs.

Going tonight in Atlanta and I can't wait. I loved the first 4/5 songs that lead into Ballet for a Girl in Buchannon. They are all fairly mellow and should be a nice lead in.
