HOT DAMN THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN!!

unfortunately they are back at chastain but i will take it anyway possible in the hometown.

July 7-8 which makes it even better being on the weekend, so i dont have to use any vacation days to get down. The only show in the south this year, so it will likely sell out much quicker than last years did. Hell I dont even think they did sell it out which was great for moving around.

Who all gonna be there? Ill be both nights again

SCI presale tomorrow at 1est and friday through the venue

I'm 95 percent sure I will be there, and I am so glad that it is going to be the weekend after the 4th because I can't take off the day before and after the 4th. Last year was a blast.

July 3 was such a great day at Chastain last year. We sat out in the rain while it downpoured. But they threw down. I am going to try my best to make it back over there this year.

I really liked when Kyle pushed his solo an extra verse and it just made me happy inside, he just played that shite the real true way, and my heart got all warm and fuzzy. I could and would dance and be a part of your music everyday, and every evening.

Kang, I love you man. Every note you hit, warms my soul dude. Thank you. It's like I'm jamming with you as I'm dancing. I just wish sometimes you could turn up your volume more, it feels that good man.

Keith, the foundation you establish and sustain shakes and vibrates my being to the core dude. I can zone in with you, and it's as if we are laying the foundation for the birth of an entirely new universe man. Talk about low end support. Your hitting some quaking frequencies bro.

Travis, you're just awesome dude. I love you man. The amount of love I feel whenever I look up to acknowledge some amazing vibrations you've just emitted, I am greated with the most pure and appreciative respect. You inspire me man. Thank you.

Jason, you just know bro. The soulful vibes you share with us lift our spirit and free our mind. Some of the kindest and most directly loving interactions with us, and we feel it and let you know we do.

Billy, one of these days were gonna get to have a beer or share some whiskey. When that acoustic guitar takes over, it's just some of the most amazingly beautiful pickin' I have ever experienced. I can relate with so much ease, and your playing fills my heart with warmth and joy.

Man, I really need to see them again. In fact, I was listening to 'Rhythm Of The Road Vol. 1" (I was there! LOL) on a long drive in the car today. Time flies when you're old...it dawned on me that I hadn't seen 'em in 14 freaking years, so I'm definitely due for another show or two.

But man, Chastain is such a crapshoot. I've had some great experiences there, but also some of the worst too...the chatter on the concession lines is SO unbearable if you have the misfortune of being seated anywhere near there...

It wasn't bad last year. That is to say, if the venue is what is keeping you from wanting to go, don't let it. It was fine last year.

I pulled the trigger anyway, lol...

Thank you OP for posting this topic. I went and pre-ordered for July 8, and scored row B in the Right Box section. Many thanks, and I'm excited for July to get here :)

I bought pit last year and didn't even make it to the pit. There was a cloud of steam above the crowd and my body temp was too high to attempt surviving down there. But it was so easy to walk down.

Yep. Same. I was in pit last year and stayed for about 3 songs then went to hang up a little more. Nice to have tho if I do want to go down. With pit I can basically go anywhere.

I didn't see Friday's show, but I was there last night. I can't speak for everyone else, but from where I was standing, I thought they brought the heat. Normally I'm kinda "meh" about guests playing with the band, be it with SCI or anyone else (except maybe for the encores), because the music usually kinda levels off to me...but the songs they did with Rhonda Thomas were cooking IMO. I heard them soundchecking Proud Mary beforehand, and I was pretty unenthused...then they actually played it in front of an audience, and it was like the performance elevated itself 5x over. Great show, can't wait to hear the download...
