Listen to Dion's version of "All By Myself". I'm telling you right now, I'm no Celine Dion fan but she hits and holds a note in that song that very, very few singers can. Whitney in her prime...probably so. Whitney during the early years was pretty tough to take. She had a tendency to sing certain notes flat. She eventually learned not to do it.

I think overall Dion is and was a better all around vocalist with a little better pitch.

She doesn’t speak perfect English, but for a native French speaker you wouldn’t know just by listening to her songs.

This is a trick question. Whitney's career kind of sputtered in the 90's. She was more of an 80's icon.

Regardless, the was the much more talented singer over Celine.
