They were actually pretty big back in the day. Played Woodstock among other things. I will say though, that their genre--white boy blues--popular in the 60's, hardly exists today.

I meant underrated in terms of how they are viewed by contemporary listeners, critics, and music historians.
They seem to be a forgotten act by many individuals.
Of course they were one of the more reputable acts during that time period.

Most of their stuff was too long/improvisational to put on top 40 radio. Goin' Up The Country was probably their biggest hit but also probably their worst song. Refried Boogie was outstanding. They did a set at the P'ville Pop Festival and were quite good.
