Why didn't she make it "big" when others did through the drugs? She did age incredibly fast through the 2000's, but she had IT during late 90's and 2000's. She seemed on a come back, but I don't hear about her much.

1993 (innocence.. Star Search): LINK

1999 (drugs are bad): LINK

2003 (10 yrs later): LINK

2004 (recovery but withdrawels? LINK

2008 (recovery): LINK

2012 (perfection?) LINK

I think the most incredible is when you just set her in front of a mic in a small venue:

Just dropped a string of albums with Bonamassa and they are top notch, the latter being the better one.

glad she's still around. i saw her open for bob weir in '98, and it was just her & a piano. sounded great, but she definitely seemed, shall we say "easily influenced" by party favors & treats as the set went on, heh. my buddy told me about the bonamassa project & i was like "whoa, she's still making music?!?!", but i was glad & excited for her.....

She had a decent sized hit with LA Song. I still hear it occasionally on TV and movies.
