The Monitor is a “classic” album now? Wow

Damn, that sounds epic. Considering Chicago (at 13 hours away) is the closest show to me, I will sadly miss out. Enjoy and let me know how it is!

I almost missed out myself, but they added a 2nd show on the 13th and I was able to get some tix!

I saw them when they were originally touring for this album. Was a good show.

Sadly, the quality of their music has only gone down since then. I liked local business but everything else is pretty forgettable.

I thought The Most Lamentable Tragedy was great (although a bit overstuffed). Like Local Business as well. Agree with you on the last two albums though.

It's cheap as shite to fly to Chicago, but I think both shows sold out.

They were supposed to play Santos before the Pandemic happened, hopefully they still come at some point.

Yeah, I'd pass on seeing them if they were touring on new material, but this show oughta be fun...

The Most Lamentable Tragedy was the last thing I bought from them..

At Mud and Water in 2013? My brother and I were at that show. From what I remember, it was a pretty sparse crowd.

I’ve seen them twice in New Orleans as well (with bigger crowds).

Here is an interesting article where Patrick Stickles ranks and discusses each Titus album (this was before their most recent one). He ranks The Monitor at 4.
