Brian "BT" Transeau...Anyone here a fan of the guy?

Brilliant guy. Classically trained musician. (Allegedly) Never used a set of turntables in his entire career, yet is known as one of the best DJ's in the world.
I have a ton of his music already, but I downloaded his Laptop Symphony album that's based off of what he does on XM on Friday Nights. Heavy amounts of Dubstep and downbeat mixed in there, but the guy seems to just be on a different playing field musically than most anyone doing DJ work other than perhaps a Tiesto or Armin Van Buren.
If you're a guy like me who grew up in his 20's listening to that stuff, whose your favorite, and do you like BT nowadays? Some folks jumped off the wagon after This Binary Universe...

ESCM is billy bad-ace. That's the first time I ran across him. Well, Blue Skies w/Tori Amos was my first real experience with his music.
But MISL was also very good. Emotional Technology & TBU were kinda tough in that one was pretty "poppy" if that makes sense, and This Binary Universe was so far out there I'm not sure WTF he was doing.
Truth be told, I heard he had creative differences scoring a major motion picture and that album was probably him just using the work he'd done creatively somehow.
But These Hopeful Machines was a return to form in my view. The Laptop Symphony Album also rocks.
