I love the girl singer in WHB. Alecia Chakour. Chick knows the meaning of soul and can really belt it.

We may disagree on a lot but goddamn at least we can agree on the mouthgasm that is French bread pizza

quote:Yeah I like their style more than Gov't Mule. I like the jazzy sound that the sax brings opposed to the harder rock sound of GM. Not saying they are worse just that i'm not as much of a fan of that style.

No I hear you completely. I really like them both and she gives WHB a little different element, but I feel like their sets can sort of slow down for a long time. But I catch both as much as possible.

Good edit. I didn't want to have to send a backhand through your screen.

haha, i like the more to come at the bottom. I wonder who it could be. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of time slots left. Aren't most of the sets 2 hours?

Ya, but there are like 3 or 4 sets by "a bigger name" every night.
Posted on 6/14/13 at 2:29 pm to CheeseburgerEddie
There are two stages so thats only about 4 hours per stage taken up. And it's a camping festy so it may very well go on into the wee hours of the night

I hope it does, but they they aren't playing anything at the same time. So if it is 2 hours, then on Friday for Example, Cheese, Further, Cheese, Further could take up 8 hours. But maybe they are saying that is 2 hours total for each of them that night.
Either way I'm pumped I hope there are some good late night stuff. Really can't wait. This will be my first time visiting the first year of a festival and I haven't been as excited for one in a long time.

quote:Yeah I think it's going to be a great weekend. The only first year I went to was Hangout and it was so nice. Far from over crowded, they had more Sweetwater tents than coors/high life, and the line up was great for being so small.

I think they said between the 1st and 2nd year it jumped from 15k to 30k people

The panic w/ John Fogerty set will dominate the weekend.
