Boom! Haken & Leprous coming to Nola

For the prog metal fans, the best band on the planet will be at Southport Hall on 11/12.
Haken is hands down the best/tightest band in the genre and we are lucky to get a close up view in Nola where prog rock is quite vacant.
Won’t be a slammed crowd but will be an awesome show. They were here in 2016 and it was insane. Southport said it was one of the best sounding concerts in their history.
This is the most technically talented band out there right now. Taking the mantle from Dream Theater. Come check them out at Southport.

Doesn't look like it's posted on their site yet. I'm going to have to try and make this one! Their new album should be out by then as well.

I was at that show. I read some good reviews about The Mountain but I hadn’t bothered to really listen to any of their work.
I decided to go on a whim, and I dare say that was the smallest crowd I’ve ever seen for an international-touring band (apart from shows at Siberia).
In all honesty, it was arguably the most surprisingly awesome show I’ve ever attended. They absolutely KILLED it.
What is said about the mix and their overall sound cannot be understated. It seemed even better when compared to Thank You, Scientist’s subpar sound that night.

New album out on 10/26!

Yes!
The Mountain is one of the most important Prog albums of the “new” crop of prog bands. Unreal. Very interested to see what the new album “Vector” ends up being like. Out on 10/26.

Tonight! (Although moved to Howlin’ Wolf).
Going to blow the minds of unfamiliar folks. Haken is the best prog rock/metal band out there

What are prices looking like?
I've never seen this band, but I typically love prig metal and would love an excuse not to do to the gym after work.

Dammit! When I checked their website I thought it said December. Freaking Europeans and their backward arse date writing!

20 bucks, an absolute steal! There is little doubt this is the most technically talented band to ever play the howling wolf

You guys are in for a treat. Both bands killed it last night in Atlanta.
I saw Haken the last time they played at Southport and it is still one of my favorite shows of all-time.
Leprous played almost exclusively new material, very little harsh vocals or heavy guitars.
Haken is as tight as ever. My only criticism is that they didn’t play for another hour.

I can do without the harsh vocals, but I was hoping for heavy guitars

Haken will provide the perfect blend of heaviness with no harsh vocals
