Saw it on AxsTV today. Must have been about 1992. I did not fully appreciate how great that show was and how much happened. I was only watching to see Eddie Vedder do Masters of War (I think his best performance of the song ever). It's just him and GE Smith (SNL guy) and Mike McCready on stage with a mandolin and acoustic guitar. Awesomeness.
But so much more happened. It was Sinead O'Connors careers end. The SNL Pope picture thing had just happened. She gets booed off the stage to Kris Kristoffersons hug. George Harrison played. Johnny Cash is there with many years left in him. The Band plays a song. Eric Clapton does 2 songs. That was just the 45 mins I saw. I never saw Vedder perform. He just introduces a still young Chrissy Hynde.
Would love to see the whole thing. Worth a watch for anybody. It's a collision of 3-4 generations of musicians. Eddie Vedder looks like a kid. Pearl Jam and Seattle had just exploded. The older guys who are dying off now are still vital. Probably the age Pearl Jam is now.
Just a cool event. I'll stop rambling now and listen. Lol

I actually was farting around on my acoustic guitar on the couch when I found it.
I tried to keep up. I was unsuccessful.

I practice Classical Technique most everyday, really enjoy something like this
John Williams plays BACH - BWV 1006 Prelude from Suite 4
or
David Wayne on a Classical - "Smooth"
post something you like

Saw it a few months ago. It was actually filmed by Sony in HD, which was still being developed around that time. Seeing those guys when they were 25 years younger performing in HD is pretty cool. Well worth the watch even if you aren't a Dylan fan.
