I used to be obsessed with them. I still love Around the Fur and White Pony. I saw them live in Birmingham and they were terrible - boring, with zero energy.

can't & won't comment about their body of work 'cuz i'm not familiar with it. but when i saw them at summer sanitarium, it was by far the worst performance of the day....and limp bizkit was on the bill, so that's really saying something. had higher hopes, but it was what it was...

Never been a huge fan, but I saw them live at Pow Wow Fest in 2011 and they were awful.

Funny to see so many people shitting on the Deftones in this thread. When they were coming to the Varsity they were the biggest band in the world, best live show ever, it was gonna be a life changing event.

Surprised so many have hated them live. I saw them in 2000 in New Orleans and they put on a great show.

One of my favorite bands..,
Saw them in 2000 touring white pony co/headlining with godsmack at UNO and I chunked a joint at chino and he picked it up off the stage and smoked it, THAT show was amazing, they opened with the rare Teething
White Pony by far
Side note I hung out w chino after his team sleep show at howlin wolf and partied all night, dude is a cool mofo
