Buying one for a friend who will never buy one for himself.
He plays acoustic guitar and bass, both acoustic bass and electric.
Is there a good thickness or pick shape for both?
When he plays acoustic 6 string he uses a standard Dunlop .73 mm. In the old original fender “tear drop” shape. I know it has a style name but am drawing a blank.

If you say "standard" sized pick, it's usually the shape of a standard Fender regardless of the manufacturer.
A .73 is THIKK for an acoustic pick, he's probably using that stone on six strings because it's what he uses on four.

Well. I think blue chips only come fairly thick. The point being they are so smooth it doesn’t matter. Lol
I guess. I bought a 1mm with a right handed player bevel. It’s like a pre retirement thing so the point was using “the finer things”. And I over thought it. Hell he may never use the thing. “Too nice”.
