Who on this board has never heard of Johnny Winter? He's one of the most iconic Guitar Gods of all time, up there with Clapton and Hendrix. I think I have permanent hearing loss from listening to "Johnny Winter And Live" when I was a teen in the '70's. He and Rick Derringer collaborated on a bunch of projects and Derringer wrote Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo for Johnny.

Do you consider Led Zeppelin a 3-piece band? After all, all Robert Plant did was sing and, like Roger Daltrey, play the harmonica.
