I’ve never seen this before; white album sessions this is mostly McCartney practicing “blackbird” with some snippets of “helter skelter” and other stuff. Lennon mostly sitting on the floor looking annoyed

I think Paul kind of checked out through most of TWA. Other than Helter Skelter, Mother Nature's Son and Martha My Dear, his efforts were really sub par.
John was still writing the best stuff, and this is really about the time when George was finally starting to come into his own.
The #4 and 5 sessions from the Esher Demos are John and George really putting their all into it. Really bare bones and stripped down.
The #5 take of Yer Blues is a masterpiece. As is Glass Onion take 10.

Blackbird?
Back in the USSR (the knockout punch to the Beach Boys, delivered effortlessly)?
I Will?
Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da?
Honey Pie?
(I would also add Rocky Raccoon)
You might literally be the first person to ever refer to Blackbird and I Will as "sub-par".
I'm a Lennon guy and still find your claim to be offensive.

I thought "Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da", "Blackbird" and "Honey Pie" were absolutely nails on a chalk board suck. "I Will" was cheesy prom dance music. But you're right about "Back in the U S.S.R". ...decent, solid song.
Ftr, TWA is quite possibly my 2nd or 3rd favorite Beatles album.

...I do think Helter Skelter is one of his best ever.

First recording, w/Andy White on drums
Playing it at .85 speed gives you an idea of the original "Orbison" version
