There is a good technical guitar player in there,but,somehow doesn't understand building tension or drama/suspense? I don't know, I sure aint an expert.

HTTK was a let down for me as a fan, I think this song has issues but it is a step in the right direction. The solo is amazing though

Shepard of Fire, Doing Time, This Means War, and Coming Home were good
The rest was eh
This is definitely a step in the right direction.
I hope they have songs that sound more like City of Evil.
Or even the self titled album

I actually thought Planets and Acid Rain were the best songs on the Album because they were the most original. ST James (bonus track) was also one of my favorites on HTTK. I think this album will have a lot of City of Evil influence so that is something we are both pumped about.

Love this band. Seen them twice and they were incredible. Hope the new album has a nightmare/city of evil vibe to it.

Waking the Fallen is a great album. Everything afterwards sucks.

I was a big A7X fan when waking the fallen came out. Everything since then has been very hit or miss to me. I don't dislike them or think everything since then sucks, it's just waking the fallen was such a fantastic album.
