I bought a new turntable last year and occasionally my vinyl records will skip. What do I need to adjust to stop this?

You need to have it set up properly. The VTF is probably off as well as the azimuth, and the plinth must be level on all sides.

Marco is the expert but I occasionally recalibrate my AT-120 tone arm when things aren’t sounding right and it usually improves

Let me ask this thread this, is the sound you get from these set ups worth it in the end?
I run stuff through a Bose Wave Radio and the sound is pretty legit, would it blow me away to set up an entry level audiophile rig with speakers, receiver, amp, and a DAC?
Is it really that much of a difference to where it warrants the price?
I don’t know anything about audiophile equipment but being a music fan it has always intrigued me knowing the possibility is out there for supreme sound.
Is it all really that much of a difference?
