That's a great amp!

This head is really my recording amp I think... 55 watts is good for practice and recording, but live I have an orange terror bass hybrid. Tube preamp, solid state power amp. It's 500 watts so it really rips

I like orange for guitar amps but I LOVE them with basses.

I do. I've got two: A 3 year old 40 watt Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue and a Crate Vintage Club 30w made around 1990.

Btw, I love the sound of those old Ampeg tube amps.

John Paul jones used that very same head back in the 70's. I love it.

Great amp, isn't it? I love that people think that the Vintage Clubs are crap just because it's got a label that says "Crate". I got mine for $150.

It is a great amp. I bought mine as a floor model for either $130 or $150 and it's still going strong.

And Crate is a good, made in America brand. Dire Straights used to play their amps, as did a lot of other bands.
