I love music but the lyrics are secondary to me.
My brain only really picks up the singer as an instrument.
I’ve tried to really pay attention to what’s being said but my brain just listens to the different instruments and beats, I could really care less as to what’s being said.
Anyone else like this?
Absolutely. I've always processed the lyrics last, if at all in some cases.
That said I'm always impressed by those who do.

No, song meaning is the single most important aspect of music to me, it’s why Kris Kristofferson is my all time favorite despite being a below average singer.
Maybe it's just my passion for writing as an art, but the idea of dismissing the insane talent of Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Warren Zevon, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, and Kate Bush in favor of comparing them strictly as vocalists against their peers is beyond foreign to me.

No literally anybody with a bit of practice can play a good song or do it well . Lyrics and attitude are what set the big guys apart from everybody else. Lyrics and meaning are no 1 when it comes to music everything is important but they are secondary
