Anybody ever heard of Popa Chubby before?

I had never heard of this guy until a few days ago. He may not look the part, but don't judge a book by its cover. The guy can wail!

I've been a Popa Chubby fan since the mid-90's. I first heard about him on a Tallahassee radio station that did a blues show on Sunday mornings. I've never had the opportunity to see him perform but I'd love to if I get the chance someday. The guy is really good.
This is the song that drew me to him and it's still my favorite out of his pretty substantial catalog:
