I'm old enough that I should remember them, but late to the party. My brother got me listening to them just a couple years ago, and I feel like I missed out on some good music from back in the day.

Saw them back in 1992 when they toured with The Origin. Great show.

Yeah they're fun but their retarded drummer is kind of a buzz kill if you see them in person.

This chick that sat next to me in Spanish 1001 at L.S.U. back in 1991 turned me onto them. I always keep a few of their songs on my phone.

They were a decent band. My friend in Santa Barbara knew them. I saw them live once and enjoyed it. Hardly monumental, however.

They like The Ocean Blue had a sound that was very catchy. Sometimes..bed wetter music..is underrated!
Not every band can sell as many records as REM, New Order, The Smiths,etc..or be as legendary.
Sometimes you put out great records like Blue Rodeo, Blue Nile, Mercury Rev, to modest sales yet critical acclaim.
Toad had a solid early 90's run, & underrated lil Greatest Hits compilation.

Always liked the acoustic version of walk on the ocean with John Mayer when he was like 19. Good band.
