This show scorches, the first set especially. Had some really good mushrooms and a flask of bourbon on the floor that night.

Here's a stream of it.

Crowd goes absolutely nuts when they go into Mr Soul.

I was at both, and you are wrong. Starkville was a good show though. That whole Spring 99 tour was so good.

I was just throwing that out there. I was at the Starkville show and while it was fun to go to, that show was the turning point for me on panic shows. The luster was wearing off. I only saw them one time after like a year later in Jackson around Easter.

I saw some good starkville shows in that round grassy bowl in the middle of campus in the early 90's obviously not describing that very well

The amphitheater. They did have some nice shows there early 90’s. Black crowes, allman brothers, blues traveler, a few panic shows,

yep, forgot about that ABB show too. Always thought the scene was pretty chill considering it was on school grounds. I didn't see cops harassing anyone.

I seem to recall the cops being pretty bad at that 99 Starkville show, but I may be confusing it with the 97 Tupelo show.

God damn me memory is getting bad.

Spring 99 was a great tour.

The crowd pop when the lights went down in Huntsville was something i'll never forget. The whole show smokes.

Starkville the night before wasn't as good, and cops were beating peoples asses. Strange night all around.

99 Panic is the best

They were. As soon as you were off campus. Profiled a lot of frat boy birkenstock types. 22 arrested on drug charges. Which is a banner night for SPD.

I don't remember anything like that.
But the Barney Fife's were on full display.
