Well, it was an expression of talent. This was a challenge and I guess you could say tribute to the late Chester Bennington. His note length in the Given Up song is what inspired this challenge. This was his version.
As for the worst thing you've ever heard, well that's just your personal taste, and that's ok.
To hold that note for that long, dude got some pipes.
