Acoustics at The Civic

May be going to see Sleater Kinney. I had heard acoustics were "iffy" and that balcony was actually better. Then I heard things had improved.

Thoughts on acoustics? Thoughts on seating or standing?

Aren't you like 70? Can you stand up for an extended period of time?

Anyway, I never had an issue with sound at the Civic. A lot of people do though. I have shitty hearing to begin fwiw. I will say that the Joy has much superior sound.

The good thing is for most shows the entire venue is GA so you can move freely around from the floor to the balcony.

Acoustics were fixed/upgraded recently.
