True. I can still appreciate the historical significance despite disagreeing with the basis for its existence.

Ever see the movie "A Bronx Tale"? The character they called 'coffee cake'; fits Ace to a tee

No offense, but I’ve never given much thought to musicianship when it comes to KISS.

I hear this all the time in regards to KISS. Ace plays some killer riffs and solos. As a bass player myself, Gene plays some iconic and groovy bass lines. So much fun to play, as is a technical song like YYZ. Peter is a competent drummer, in all regards. Are they Dream Theater, no. But damn, they have some really cool rock and roll songs. Hell, the other thread everyone is saying how overrated Ace is. I mean, he’s a solid rock guitarist.

Paul, Gene, Tommy and Eric did play after the HOF under the Brooklyn Bridge.

No they didn't. Also for EricCarr and Bruce Kulick not to be inducted is a travesty.

Ace is a chode. I was there during the original lineup farewell tour when Ace would disappear for minutes at a time under the stage because he was too high to perform.

Thayer is a good guy, reliable and a pretty good guitarist.

I totally agree Tommy and Eric Singer solidified the band and their concerts proved it. What Ace and Peter don't want anyone to remember is that they both voluntarily leased their makeup to the band and live off royalties for those leases. I like Ace and Peter but I was actually brought up in the non makeup years and my favorite member was Eric Carr. Eric died on the same day as Freddy Mercury and therefore ignored by the mainstream media and never got his proper due.

Love Ace but Tommy never did anything to hurt him. Thayer was just a sideman who took the job.

Ace is cool and funny as hell, but going after Tommy like this is just a bad look.
