Bob Haggart and Ray Bauduc - “Big Noise From Winnetka” (1939)

With its big beat and emphasis on the rhythm section (the only other instrument is whistling), I consider this record to be a precursor of rock and roll.

FWIW both Haggart and Bauduc were from NO.
