April 19 Kansas City, MO Starlight Amphitheatre
April 20 St. Louis, MO Chafietz Arena

April 25 Austin, TX HEB Center at Cedar Park

May 2 Atlanta, GA Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre

Of course they would choose to play in Houston on the Thursday before finals week. And of course their Atlanta and Nashville dates have to take place the week of finals.

Between the Opeth/Gojira show and this, Nashville might explode from the sheer awesomeness of shows that first week of May.

Maybe if everyone boycotts, Maynard will get back in the studio where he belongs?

The entire hold-up with the release of the Tool album has more to do with the slow, meticulous songwriting process and instrumental recordings of Carey, Chancellor, and Jones. Maynard doesn't compose his lyrics until after the tracks are laid down.

Cross your fingers for a Jazz Fest night show on Friday, April 28 TBA. It's the only hope.

its pretty clear that a new tool album isn't forthcoming if maynard is about to do a tour and record new music with a perfect circle.
