Kendrick shits all over Drake
LMFAO. I'm tired of Kendrick Lamar being so fricking overhyped. He mentions the names of a few musicians in a verse and the Internet fan boys go crazy. Drake has CONSISTENTLY stayed at the top for four years now. That feat is not easy to accomplish in the industry and very few people manage to do it. Everyone falls of eventually. For example, Eminem and Kanye are a fragment of what they used to be. Honestly, I hope Kendrick proves me wrong since hip hop could use some lyrical rappers because of artist like Chief Keef/2Chainz who shine a negative spotlight on rap. But, you can't say that kdot is better then Drake especially since Drake has already won a Grammy and proven he's one of the best rappers of modern rap and easily the best rapper right now.

Kendrick LameR with another L. You morons on here think you know so much about hip-hop it's ridiculous. Come out of your secluded backpack underground utopia and step into the real world.

Kendrick vs. Drake
quote:
His writing style may not be as “complex” as that of Kendrick, but nobody conveys stories and emotion better than Aubrey Graham. Not only does Drake do that, but he manages to do it while making hit songs. As an example, let’s take Drake’s “Stay Schemin’” verse. Is it complex writing? Not by any means. However, Drake managed to completely obliterate Common in a verse that would go on to dominate radio and clubs. Imagine being Common and having to hear this verse everywhere, as well as seeing people constantly quoting Drake’s lines. Yikes!
quote:
This one is not even close. Drake has sold 4.5 million albums to date. Kendrick has sold just over one million. Advantage: Drake
quote:
Adding to this, both of Kendrick’s releases, “Section .80? and “Good Kid, M.A.A.D City” have received higher scores than any of Drake’s releases. Advantage: Kendrick
quote:
Drake also has two platinum albums (one of which is double platinum) to Kendrick’s one platinum album, along with the 2013 Grammy for Best Rap Album. Advantage: Drake
quote:
We have seen what a Drake co-sign can do via his support of artists such as Future and The Weeknd. This co-sign has undoubtedly had a substantial effect on the popularity that Kendrick has garnered thus far. Advantage: Drake
quote:
When it’s all said and done, Kendrick puts up a decent fight, but Drake wins via rear naked choke 4 minutes into the very first round. Drake is the undisputed Hip Hop Heavyweight Champion of the World.

Now please shower me with your lame excuses as to why this article is wrong and Kendrick is better

They are the same type of people who will stop listening to a musician because they manage to go mainstream.
I thought of a good comparison to Kendrick. It's Wiz Khalifa - he made it big and people started hailing him as the next great rapper and now he's not making as much noise while Drizzy is still putting out bangers.

Exactly. They're disconnected from the real world and it's somewhat saddening to see them not being able to enjoy good mainstream music like normal human beings.
Eta: I wonder how many ppl will actually respond to that post. I basically just Ethered them.

No response. Macintosh with an L

Macintosh doesn't have the capacity to post an actual comment so he has to rely on posting a tard comment.

What's the point of debating with you guys when you have your heads so far up drakes arse that you dont even care to listen.
Posted on 8/30/13 at 10:12 pm to Macintosh
I'm listening. Tell me why Drake sucks. I can't wait for the same "he's way to emotional argument".
Posted on 8/30/13 at 10:17 pm to Macintosh
I would bet $ 337 has a drake collage on his wall in the shape of a heart.

Huh?? What do you mean? He has some fast paced song where he raps, and some emotional songs where he raps. He also has emotional song where he sings and some songs are a combination of both.
That quote is the definition of Meek Mill, Rick Ross, Chief Keef, 2Chainz, Jay-Z. They sound the same on every album but Drake actually changes it up.

What's the point of debating with you guys when you have a professional with a solid argument that we can't come up with a legitimate response to.

I'm done. This board has gone to shite. I'll stick to posting on OnThaCorner from now on when I want to talk hip hop. I'm sick of every fricking rap thread devolving into the same shite over and over. It's fricking ridiculous. 337 does the same thing in every fricking thread. He drops some Drake reference in a thread that has absolutely nothing to do with Drake, knowing people will get mad, talks about his Grammy and all the millions of albums Sally Jenkins and her little white friends bought, than accuses anyone who doesn't agree with him and calls them a backpacker, lame, and close minded, when in reality he refuses to acknowledge any other rapper other than members of YMCMB. He then brings his alter into the thread so it looks like someone agrees with his opinion. Same shite every god damn thread. Rap threads are the new religion threads.
I'm out.
I'm out.

I bet money rutiger doesn't have a constructive response to my post and will continue to say that Kendrick is better than Drake.

people will get mad,

Why don't you post on KanyeToThe instead? You refuse to accept the reality of what good hiphop is today. Hell, you'd probably get laughed off of that site too

Yeah it's pretty fricking stupid, Bob. Really wish the 2 retards would be banned.
