The passion and emotion in his voice were amazing. Truly one of the most charismatic and influential artist ever. Died way too young at the age of 26.

A few of my favorites
Your precious love
Love Man
I've been loving you too long
Nothing can change his love
I've got dreams
Cigarettes and Coffee
A change is gonna come

He and George Jones are tied at #1 for me and no one else is close. They are both number 1 for the same reason. Their passion and ability to make you feel every single emotion in every word they sang. You just keep waiting for them to start crying mid song
