Weiland in that chair is an iconic image of grunge lore.

In my view, STP’s music has aged best of all those bands.

It’s my go-to act of the grunge bands, anyways.

I find STP to be more versatile and with greater dynamics than the other acts, and not always so dreary and dark. To each his own, though.

Agree. Out of all the grunge bands, I find myself asking Alexa to play songs by STP significantly more.

Core was most definitely grunge. Everything after that changed enough to where I can see it being hard rock or alternative.

Looking back in retrospect now, I find myself listening to STP more often than the other bands from that era. They just had a really unique style.
