They change their style up a good bit but I think they're still very much an alt country band but indie rock is very broad umbrella that alt country fits under a lot of times

Yeah that album was when brian had left the band and Todd selvedge joined for a brief period.

Further West is the only album of theirs that I have, the rest of their stuff is more country I assume?

They're early records had a heavy country as well as punk influence. They've strayed more towards the staxx records sound here lately but the country influence is still obvious.

That much further west is definitely the more "rock" record of their discography.
Tennessee is more "country"

That much further west is actually one of my least favorites. It's just beats out Women and Work
